Principal-in-Charge

Lorna Humphrey is a Founder and the Principal-in-Charge of the company. Lorna is a Registered Environmental Professional with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Nicholls State University in 1981 and a Master of Science Degree in Engineering with concentration in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Orleans in 1985. Lorna has over 25 years of experience working in the Petrochemical, Refining, Exploration & Production, Oil & Gas, and the Energy & Power industries involved in project management, environmental, process, and mechanical engineering. As Principal-in-Charge, Lorna has overall authority of the company and provides overall guidance in establishing strategic goals and implementing best business practices to help ensure the growth and stability of Innovative Technical Services.

 

Thomas Hurstell

Thomas E. Hurstell, PE

Principal Engineer

Tom is a Founder and Principal Engineer of the company. Tom received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of New Orleans in 1991 and began his career as a mechanical engineer for a local engineering firm. Over the years, Tom's responsibilities grew as he worked in many fields including oil and gas, oil refining, oil storage, power generation, and measurement and allocation. In 2001, Tom joined his partners in forming Innovative Technical Services. Tom supervises and mentors most of the engineers working for the company especially in roles of specialty engineering. Tom is active in the American Petroleum Institute's Committee on Production Measurement and Allocation developing standards for the oil and gas industry.

 

Chad Simonton

Chad Simonton

Principal

Chad is a Founder and the Finance Principal of the company. Chad oversees all company finances. Chad is also the Measurement and Allocation Business Line Manager for the company. Chad received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University in 1998. Chad has over 12 years of engineering experience in the oil and gas field including 8 years supporting measurement and allocation activities. Chad is a Member of the American Petroleum Institute's Committee on Production Measurement and Allocation and is the Chairman of Chapter 20.2 Work Group Production Allocation Measurement Using Single Phase Devices.
